VIVE OAXACA GUELAGUETZA 2023
ACCESSIBILITY: There will be free parking for the handicapped off of Benito Avenue.
ADMISSION: $10.00 per person; children under 5 admitted free
BENEFIT: This event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit Senderos, which provides free dance, music classes, educational support programs and scholarships for Latino youth. We thank you for your support!
COMMUNITY BOOTHS – CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES: Check out the information and resource booths – some have activities for children and free giveaways.
HOURS: 10:00am-4:00pm
MARKETPLACE: Open 10am-4pm featuring Oaxacan food and craft vendors
PARKING: Limited free parking will be available at the Masonic Temple next door. There is a public parking lot on Soquel Avenue next to the Fire Department. There is plenty of street parking in the neighborhood.
PARKING /HANDICAP: In the school parking lot off of Benito Avenue.
PERFORMERS: Centeotl Danza y Baile and Maqueso Music from Los Angeles
PROGRAM: Gates and booths open at 10:00am. Cultural dance and music program is from 11am-3pm. Procession of musicians and dancers around the field at 11am.
VENUE: The festival is located on a field with only a little shade. Feel welcome to bring blankets and low chairs. No large canopies or tents are allowed.
SENDEROS BOOTH: Selling hats, rebozos, CIS #8 CD’s, water, chips, cookies. Please stop by to learn more about Senderos and support our programs!
